Some days remind us why our school is so special. Family & cultural diversity day was definitely one of them. To celebrate the end of the school year, we invited our families to share their cultures and traditions. No plane tickets needed, just a walk from stand to stand to travel the world.

The day started with music and energy. As families arrived, they were welcomed by the sounds of the Gnaoua group, creating a festive atmosphere right at the gate.

We kicked off with the Morocco stand, beautifully decorated with traditional crafts, colourful fabrics, and delicious treats. Then came the international stands, each prepared with so much care. Families shared objects, traditional clothes, photos, flags, and homemade dishes from their countries. It was simple, warm, and genuine. Children went from stand to stand, full of curiosity and pride.

Throughout the day, everyone joined in fun games and activities: balloon relays, dance challenges, ping-pong ball circuits... On stage, students sang an Amazigh song with their teacher, followed by an energetic dance from the Latino Duo that got the crowd moving. The day ended on a high note with another lively Gnaoua performance.

But what truly made this day special was what it showed us about our community. 25 nationalities gathered under one roof: La Chrysalide, the school where the world meets.

A place where every child can feel proud of their roots, and where diversity is celebrated every single day.

Thank you to all the families, students, and staff who made this day so meaningful. We wish you all a wonderful summer
